.the 4D experience.

dear poppet love,

we saw you in 4D yesterday. it was an amazing experience. we were so excited and i got really emotional but of course nobody noticed because both the Dr and daddy were busy looking at the screen. you're incredible. when we first saw your face i immediately said to daddy that you look like him especially your lips! he didnt believe me at first, kept telling me that you look like me til later when he couldnt stop looking at the printed photo of you that he said you might look like him ;)

Alhamdullillah, Dr said you're healthy and as usual very active. in fact, i felt you moved during the scanning session and saw that you were kicking and punching! most of the time you were covering your face with your hands and there was a 2 seconds smile! So beautiful!

We really cant wait to see you little one. Day and night, our conversations have always been about you.

InsyaAllah, it wont be long now.

Xxx

Love,
Mum.

.tiny laundry.

i hardly believe myself when i was doing the laundry this morning..

Yes, i was doing tiny laundry where there are muslin squares, baby vests, socks, mitts, booties, hats, bibs, sleeping suits, washcloths etc. Wow, even hubs was awed when he came downstairs ready for work.

I dont quite know if it's too early to do this but when i asked around, people say i should have done it by now. So there it is. Funny, yes thats what i thought at first. It is hard to believe that ive reached this stage of life- being pregnant, getting ready for motherhood and soon becoming a mother myself!
I wonder how it'll feel like holding your own child in your arms, looking at the tiny baby that's half you and your husband.

Alhamdullillah.

I feel blessed.

We cant wait to see you little one.

p/s: as of now, i am 29 weeks 4 days pregnant.

.dear child.

it has been a while i havent read you a book or sing (nevermind being lousy at it) but i still talk to you each and everyday. I know you can hear me, so i would tell you all the things i could share with you.

I'd talk to you if it's been a busy day at school, maybe you can notice that from my active movements or my interactions with others.

I'd talk to you all about my sewing projects especially what ive made for you. I guess you notice that too because you're always actively moving whenever im on it. Sometimes i have to stop because you make me uncomfortable ;)

I'd talk to you about how amazing your daddy is and how lucky you are to have such a wonderful dad. He cant wait to see you little one.

I'd talk to you about my cooking. I guess you know how they taste like because we're sharing the same food. Im sorry if you dont like it :|

I'd talk to you about our 'balik kampung' journeys or any other short trips we've made. And there'll definitely be more once you've arrived.

Ive been talking to you about lots of other things too.. About my feelings, my ups and downs.. I love to share them with you.
I enjoy sharing the stories with you.

And you're one good listener.

And tonight, i decided to read you a bedtime story 'A Pocket Full of Kisses'

It is a lovely story about family love. I hope you enjoyed it ;)

xxx

Love from,
Mummy.

.of home projects & school work.

few weeks ago i cut out two baby dress patterns for my sweet poppet and today, proudly and happily finished making one dress. It took me quite a while to finish even one because too many things have been going on and i rarely have time for it plus, it's 100% handsewn. However, since one is done, i bet i dont have to wait long for another one. After all, mama called earlier saying she might come here this weekend and will bring my sewing machine with her. Cant hardly wait!! Will try to post the photo tomorrow since i am already in bed getting ready to sleep.

Anyway, school's been hectic this week because it's the last week before the mid term break. Lots of things are going on and i will be having a lesson observation this Thursday! All teachers including the seniors at the school will have to go through it every freaking year. And i will be teaching maths - subtraction to be specific. Sounds easy eh? Dont think so when you have a combined class of year 2 & 3 plus having three different levels of ability plus behavioural problems of many kinds. Honestly, i am still not quite prepared but ive looked at the planning and activities and will sort everythig out tomorrow, insyaAllah. Especially the lesson plan and materials. Wish me luck!

.too many things on my mind.

ive been busy with lots of things - school, house chores and of course some sewing projects. I wish i have my sewing machine back.. Cant wait for next weekend to have it back and more stuffs to come up with ;)

In general, life has been great these days. I am totally happy with whats going on.. Alhamdullillah. And now that i am at my 28th weeks pregnant, we've been thinking of some names for our little bundle of joy. In fact, we've chosen one but we're thinking to add another name to go with it. Honestly, i cant wait to meet you sweetheart.

Lots of planning have been going on. We've been discussing about having a child in our home, some things will have to change to make it child friendly, having a child in our lives (oh yes,
speaking of being good parents and being a family), about the nursery (project to commence next week starting with the painting of the room). Cant believe there are so much to do! And havent done much shopping yet!

.been busy.

ive been busy last night cutting out the fabrics. So far there are cut outs of two baby dresses, four bibs, a pair of booties and a pair of baby pants. Im thinking of going out tonight to get more fabrics, maybe after dinner. But we'll see how it goes. Sweet Adi (despite calling him 'sweet') might not be interested to go to 'kedai kain' after a long day at work! Things are great at home though im getting heavier :( lying down flat on my back is the worst position ever especially when im on the floor. It'll take the whole minute just to get up! And yes, i pee a lot and very regular that many times ive thought of adult diapers :| and of course, Adi thought the idea is hilarious and also ridiculous. Cant imagine the look on his face if i got one on. So school, oh well, the second week in term 2 is already giving me lots of headache. I was absent on Monday because of extreme tiredness + dizziness. Today, two children were fighting over the A4 sized whiteboard and both were hurt. One's got some very obvious scratches on her arm and the other has got a swollen lower lip. Honestly, i was extremely panicking because both are the school teachers' children. However, i managed to solve the problem and of course the crying part which was driving me half insane. Oh kids! Im so grateful im one patient teacher. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

.the other pair.

i made my baby another pair of shoes. this time it is a girl's shoes compared to the first one which is more of a unisex type. this pair took me about a week because i had to stop sewing for few days due to errands and other responsibilities. im getting better at it now, Alhamdullillah but obviously not perfect like the ones you buy from the shops :)

Anyway, today i went to Kamdar to get more materials and might start on making little dresses and bibs. Gone bonkers with all the cottons. There are so many kinds of them and the patterns are fantastic! Didnt spend much because im so aware that im still at the learning stage so i dont want to waste the materials especially the expensive ones.

School's starting very soon and i wonder if i can ever find the time to start with the projects.
I'll try my best. I'll definitely find the time.
